Congratulations to John P. McEneny, whose award winning play COLD APRIL was made into a short film.

Congratulations to John P. McEneny whose play COLD APRIL was the winner of the Strawberry One-Act Festival in the winter of 2009.  It was published in THE BEST PLAYS FROM THE STRAWBERRY ONE-ACT FESTIVAL: Volume 5.

It was then made into a short film.

COLD APRIL, based on the true story of the St. Maria Goretti schoolgirls who stood together against hatred and intolerance during the 1994 Rwandan genocide. Adapted from John P. McEneny's award-winning short play of the same name and with an original score by Grammy-nominated composer Enrique 'Hank' Feldman, COLD APRIL is a heart-wrenching tale of children fighting for what they believe is right.
