Nick Marchetti (Trent Mackenzie) is pumped to be making his NYC stage debut in Deuces Are Wild! After graduating from The University of Oklahoma with a BFA in Acting, he was seen getting yelled at in a kitchen on an episode of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, then performed on board The Polar Express Train Ride in Whippany, NJ through the holidays. Other favorite credits include Valentine Coverly (Arcadia), King Ferdinand (Love’s Labour’s Lost) and Mother Ginger (The Nutcracker). Glory to God and special thanks to his family and friends who keep him grounded and ready to take on the world with a smile on his face.

Steven Smith (Sean Kingsley) Performing recently in the play WHY ME? at the Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning.  Steven has honed his craft with several theatre companies including: The Barrow Group.  Hailing from Reading, Pennsylvania, Steven relocated to New York to obtain his career in the performing arts.  DEUCES ARE WILD sees Steven bringing to life the domineering Sean Kingsley.  Cheers to the crew and fellow cast.

Anthony Fusco (Playwright, Director) is a native New Yorker originally from Brooklyn now residing in Queens. He is very excited to have his play Deuces Are Wild presented as part of the Strawberry One Act festival 2018. Anthony began writing plays at a later age after performing on stage in NYC in several Off Off Broadway productions. He decided to try playwriting as a hobby until he self produced his first 60 minute, 6 male, choreographed performance art piece titled Confessions Of A Bad Boy. This piece was presented at the Duplex Cabaret, The Wings Theater, as well as The Producers Club in NYC. His work has been presented at The Strawberry One Act festival several years, The Thespis Theater festival, Manhattan Rep, as well as the Bad Theater festival in NYC. His work was also accepted into the New York New Works Theater festival last year. He won best director award for his one act drama Rush Hour Madness, in the SOAF winter 2013. His play Fixation made the top 4 best plays in 2015 at the SOAF and was a finalist several times. His credits include, Psychic Café, A Night At Stonewall, Crossing Verrazano, Confessions of a Bad Boy, Sole Mates and Lame Ducks. He would like to thank his family and friends for their love and support. Thanks to Van Dirk Fisher for giving me the opportunity to stage my play again this year! I want to wish my actors Nick and Steven the best and many thanks for bringing this wild and sexy play together. Break legs guys! A special thanks to my Stage Manager Victor Vauban Jr for all of his help with casting and support.
