Congratulations To Playwright Shi, Yi, Whose Play A VIEW FROM THE BACK Makes Its Debut In The Strawberry One-Act Festival

Shi, Yi (Playwright, A VIEW FROM THE BACK) is a blank canvas. From afar, he looks just like any other Chinese fabric. Yet, a gentle flick on the canvas gives way to the nuanced layers of undertones achievable only under the humidity of Singapore and the sunlight of California. He has been certified by the University of California, Berkeley for passing the tests of Physics and the impact reviews on the Society and Environment. He is currently pursuing the recognition for his master level of Environmental Management quality at Yale University. The canvas could have been covered with violin scores, lyrics, Shakespearean verses, or essays. Instead, it has been kept blank for its day of destiny. That day is coming, as it has been invited for display at the marvelous Strawberry One-Act Festival in New York City. Magnifying glasses and mere touches will not suffice to experience the sea of subtlety on this canvas. What you have to do, is to shrink yourself down to the scale of millimeters, heighten your senses, and feel each story that has been carved into the warp and weft of the fabric.
