Heather Fairfield (Agitated
Woman)
is honored to join the cast of Flight 987.
She has worked extensively as an actress. Some films include; War of the Roses, The Opposite of Sex, and
No Secrets. She has appeared in the
television series; Law & Order SVU,
Third Watch, Hope & Faith, as well as starring in many made for TV
Movies. She produced and starred in an Off-Broadway production of Anne Devlin’s
Ourselves Alone. Training includes The Royal National Theatre,
Lesley Kahn, and Roy London. She thanks Tina for the opportunity to play.
Daren Fleming (Ron) starred as Terry in
LOGO TV’s first original feature-film, The
Ski Trip. Theater credits include The
Hip-Hop Misanthrope, Julian &
Romero, and for 10 years he appeared as Miss Grenadine Ross in the
Off-Broadway game show The Ultimate Drag
Off. His autobiographical essay, The
Night Diana Died, was included in the anthology For Colored Boys, edited by Keith Boykin and published by Magnus
Books. Daren is a member of SAG-AFTRA and is a graduate of AMDA New York.
Tina Posterli (Sally
Whitfield & Playwright) is a playwright, actress and producer. Her work
has been performed in the New York International Fringe Festival and the
Midtown International Theatre Festival. Comin’
Up a Cloud, which she co-authored with Mark Hunter, was workshopped at
Cloverdale Playhouse in Montgomery AL, Manhattan Theatre Club Creative Center
and Dramatists Guild. Tina was an improv and sketch performer and founder of
the NYC-based sketch comedy troupe, The Ingredients. She is thrilled to be a
part of the Strawberry One-Act Festival.
Jennifer Sarafin (Nervous
Woman) is
thrilled to be performing in Flight 987.
She would like to thank Tina for this opportunity. She has
performed in many theatrical productions both regionally and Off-Broadway. Some
theater credits include: Steel
Magnolias, Love,Loss and What I Wore,
and Streetcar named Desire. TV
and film credits include: Law and
Order, Sex and the City, and Jungle Fever. She studied acting
at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and The Actors Studio in NYC.
Andreas Spiker (Large
Man) hails
from North Carolina and has lived in Germany and Greece. He has appeared in, or
had his voice heard, in a variety of TV commercials and series episodes,
including Law and Order. He has
starred in plays such as Travesties, The
Real Inspector Hound, Harvey, Sexual Perversity in Chicago, The American Dream,
Once Upon a Mattress, and My Three
Angels. Recently, he starred in the Working Actor Studio debut production
of Jean Anouilh’s Antigone.
James “Face” Yu (Businessman) has
been performing on different stages throughout New York City for the past 8
years. Some of his favorite roles include Puck and Guildenstern with Annie’s Shakespeare Shakedown, Son from Opal, and Sergeant Toshio in Comfort Women: A New Musical.
He has trained and studied with SITI Company in Suzuki and Viewpoints, Movement
Theater Studio, Wynn Handman, and most recently Paul Casali. He is a member of
the Nerve Tank and thanks his friends and family for all their support.
Laurence C. Schwartz
(Director) last
directed Perception of Color at The
American Theatre of Actors, where he is Director-In-Residence. He has directed
numerous performances for SOAF
including The Prophet (Finalist), Plastic Couch, and Standing on Ceremony (Finalist). Other directorial credits include: No Applause Please, Introductions
(Theatre-Vision/78th St Theatre Lab) A
Question of Ethics, Hot Dogs and Cracker Jacks (Theatre Row/Love Creek
Productions). He has an MA in Theatre/CUNY.
