Daniel
Yaiullo (George) recently played Romeo in Romeo &
Juliet at Theatre West 97th Repertory (dir. Sharlene Cruz). He has studied in
Oxford at the British American Drama Academy and holds his BFA from NYU’s Tisch
School of the Arts. Some favorite past credits include Malvolio in Twelfth
Night (dir. Ian Belknap), Eddie in Hurlyburly (dir. Robert O'Hara), ensemble in
Macbeth (dirs. Kenneth Branagh & Rob Ashford), and Willard in Footloose. He
would like to thank Lain, Tim, and Sarah for their invaluable contributions to
this project and hopes Kim trips over her costume.
Lain
Kienzle (Playwright/Director) Originally from Chicago, Lain received her BFA in Film Production from
NYU Tisch. Favorite projects include: The Nappers (Official Selection -
First Run), Flicker (Faculty Commendation, Best Screenwriting – New
Visions and Voices), and Squatters (Audience Choice, Best Screenwriting
– Chicago 48 Hour Film). Most recently, she’s worked on ABC’s The Family and
NBC’s The Blacklist. Lain lives in Brooklyn where she writes, bakes
cupcakes, and makes friends with all the stray cats she meets. She’d like to
thank Kim, Dan, Tim, Sarah and Julian for coming on this adventure with her.
Tim
Wong (Light and Sound Board Op) Formerly a
technical director and sound director for high school and community theatre,
Tim currently works as a production sound mixer for film. Most notably, he's
worked on Fort Tilden (2014 SxSW Winner), My Art (2015), and Blind (2015). He
is so incredibly happy to see Lain's beautiful story come to life through an
amazing cast at the Strawberry One Act Festival.
Sarah
Barnes (Costume Designer) Creator and designer of Cygnet Hill’s patented, interchangeable
jewelry system, Sarah has also costumed God of Carnage,
Boarding House, Independence, Prisoner of Second Avenue, and 1940s Radio
Hour (Citadel Theatre – Chicago) and Our Town, Guys & Dolls,
Nunsense, and Mame (CenterStage in Lake Forest (IL)). Film credits
include: Childhood Lost and Found for the Vliet Museum, Lake
Forest, IL’s 150th Anniversary Reenactment, as well as advising on several
of Lain’s student/independent films.
Julian
Cahill (Stage Manager) Julian is a
current student at the NYU Tisch film program with a history of high school theatre
and live sound mixing. He also works as a freelance sound mixer, with credits
on numerous independent films. He’s excited to be able to help Lain bring her
vision to the stage at the Strawberry One Act Festival.
