Congratulations To Playwright Kacie Devaney, Whose Play THE UNKNOWNS Kicks Off The Strawberry One-Act Festival



Kacie Devaney (Playwright, THE UNKNOWNS) is a playwright, dancer, actor, choreographer, song writer, and musician. Ms. Devaney was raised in Northern California and moved to Paris, France, in 2011 where she obtained a degree in Comparative Literature from, The American University Of Paris. Kacie moved to New York in 2014. Since then, she has had four of her original plays accepted into festivals including; The Thespis Theater Festival, The Downtown Urban Theater Festival, The Fringe Festival, and now, The Strawberry Theater Festival. Kacie had the privilege of being invited to perform in, The Elisa Monte Dancer's Symposium as an emerging choreographer. Kacie's newest choreography was accepted into The Hatch presenting series and will be performed in April. Currently, Kacie is working on getting her full length play The Great Forgotten produced. The Great Forgotten had a sold out run in The International New York Fringe Festival in 2015 and Kacie hopes to get the play into a bigger venue.
