Congratulations To Playwright Neil Wolfe, Whose Play THE ELEVATOR Makes It's Debut In The Strawberry One-Act Festival

Neil Wolfe (Playwright, THE ELEVATOR) is a critically-acclaimed, consummate pianist and performing composer.  As a Columbia Records artist, he recorded three solo albums with full orchestra produced by legendary producer Teo Macero, arranged and conducted by Peter Matz. He has performed extensively throughout the country in concert tours through Columbia Artists and through his own solo tours. His television appearances have included the Tonight Show with Johnnie Carson and PBS (The Boston Pops). His compositions have spanned the worlds of musical theater and pop songs with performances by the Boston Pops, the Chinese Symphony at Lincoln Center and other noteworthy orchestras. His musical theater compositions include: BIRTHDAY: THE FRANKENSTEIN MUSICAL which had its premier at the Deep Ellum Theater in Dallas, Texas and has been in development in workshop productions in NYC, and INTIMATE STRANGERS, which premiered at the Long Beach Light Opera Company in California. He has performed in concert with Barbra Streisand, and she recorded his song "All That I Want" on her album MY NAME IS BARBRA: II.

In addition, Columbia Records produced a special tribute album for Barbra Streisand, featuring Wolfe playing her best known songs. Streisand described Wolfe as "one of the most exciting pianist-composers I have ever met" in her liner notes for the project.  His pop songs have included recordings by critically-acclaimed jazz vocalist Stevie Holland, as well as his many other associations.
