245 AND COUNTING, A Musical
Book, Lyrics & Music By Molly Alexa Horan

The show is an original musical called 245 and Counting.  It follows four addicts (Adderall, Cough Syrup, Cocaine and Hyperactive Personality Disorder) and their psychiatrist through eight months of therapy at the Rhapsody Music Rehabilitation Center.  The curtain rises on four troubled 20 somethings who have hit rock bottom and landed in rehab.  And so their recovery begins – 245 days – comprised of group sessions steeped in the magic of music.  As the relationships between the characters and psychiatrist evolve friendships are made, walls crumble, emotions are stretched, personal discoveries are made, and lessons are learned all under the umbrella of the universality of music.

Walk out the door, re-enter the world, and take them with you – intervals and chords.
